Eugene Portman is a skillful solo jazz pianist and ensemble player as well as a sublime accompanist whose technique combines expressive improvisations, a melodic sensitivity and flying fingers capable of a hard-driving swing guaranteed to set your pulse racing!
Eugene's repertoire covers a wide range of music but he specialises in the great jazz standards of 'The Great American Songbook'. His main influences are Oscar Peterson, George Shearing, Errol Garner and Dudley Moore. Eugene can be hired as a solo pianist for your wedding ceremony, reception, corporate event or private party in Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Essex, London, The Midlands and beyond. Eugene is based in the South East but travels regularly throughout the UK.
